Whatever ability a child has when entering Scissett CE Academy, we aim to ensure they achieve to their best of their abilities. We also aim to have a rich and varied curriculum, so that all talents and interests in each child are explored and children are given the chance to shine in this areas.

So God Created Man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He Created them.

As a Church School we base ourselves around Christian beliefs. Our biblical root was chosen to recognise that we are all God's children, that each and everyone of us is special and therefore we should be respected and nurtured as such.

Our Christian Values

One of our aims is to ensure that all our pupils leave us as the best possible citizens of the future that they can be. Helping us do this, we teach and follow six Christian values which we hope will help children become good people.
