Scissett CE Academy is a semi rural school, situated in the village of Scissett. We currently have 171 pupils on roll and are a one form entry school.

As part of the Learning Accord MAT, we work with a group of local schools to improve and define our policies whilst keeping our individual identity.

We are also a Church of England school. The Christian ethos underpins all we do in school, celebrating the values of honesty, kindness , respect, love, Koinonia and trust.

Our school has excellent grounds with 2 playgrounds, a field and a wooded area. We also have outdoor provision for EYS and Early Years are currently developing an allotment area.

We work hard to provide a well resourced clean and stimulating learning environment, which promotes a love of learning and self esteem.

Our staff is a dedicated team. We work hard to share excellent practice and always be developing professionally.

As a school we work hard to support the mental health and well being of our community.

Our vision statement is Excellence for the Whole Child: A Place Where all Succeed and this is something we work hard everyday to achieve.
